The International Airline Ticketing Academy was established in 1991 (33 years teaching 50000 studets). It runs three courses for the year, beginning in January, May and September respectively.  Open book exam and Travel & Tourism Diploma awarded at the end of the course.

Most of the students (Sri Lankan and foreign) who have had successfully followed these courses over the last 33 years are now employed by Airlines, Travel Agents, Airports and other organizations related to the Tourism Industry In Sri Lanka and abroad.

The Course Director Mr. Deepal Perera has 22 years experience working for 15 Airlines and 2 IATA Travel Agents in Sri Lanka and abroad and 44 years in Aviation business teaching 50000 students. IATA DIPLOMA (DTTF) 1983 - 1985 (Geneva) In 1987 he passed as an IATA International Travel Consultant (DTTC)1985 – 1987 (Geneva).  He passed the OAG World Airways Guides Course (UK), UNCTAD Instructors course, IATA Professional Skills for Instructors (Montreal) 1997 - 1999, IATA GDS-Amadeus 2003 - 2005, IATA Airline Marketing 2001 – 2003 and IATA Foundation Instructor 2006 - 2007 (Montreal).  IATA Airport Operations with a Distinction ( Montreal ) 2007 - 2009

Mr. Perera is a visiting lecturer at Government of Maldives National University Tourism Faculty. (2005 - 2014)

Diploma in Airline Reservations, Marketing, Fares/Ticketing, GDS - amadeus, AIRPORT OPERATIONS, Passenger and Customer Handling & CARGO ( Travel & Tourism Course ) with visual aids, simulation exercises and Airline Computer Training is especially intended for:

OL, AL, School Leavers, Travel Agents, Airline Staff, Recruiting Agents, Customer Service, Marketing, Management, Cruise Ship Staff, Frequent Travellers, Security Personnel, Bank Staff, Part Time Job Seekers, Hotel Staff, Embassy Staff, Airport Staff, Secretaries, Tour Operators, For Migrants, Cabin Crew, Those who wish to gain knowledge, Staff making travel arrangements for their company.

Only a limited number of students will be enrolled for these courses and lectures will be conducted at Our Academy (Air Conditioned), on the following days:-

The course will be completed within a period of three (03) calendar months (11 Sessions and open book exam).

AIRLINE DIPLOMA COURSE FEE LKR 50000

Cairns Lowe (10 years) and Sineth Lowe (11 years) from Second Chance Travel youngest students to have passed Airline Diploma from our Academy.

If you like to follow the computer course, you could do so, after the completion of the Diploma. Only 10 students per class.

Many of our students who had followed this course are now working for Srilankan, Qatar Airways, Emirates, Kuwait Airways, Saudia, Air Asia, Gulf Air, Cathay Pacific, Oman Air, Royal Jordanian, Maldivian, Manta Air, Fly me & Trans Maldivian Airways.

Individual classes could be arranged for all the courses.
